I'm afraid that although the fights were great fun, I found the commentary to be highly immature and offensive.
Sexism, swearing, continually going on about the Coalition of Carebear Killers.
If the commentary is going to be like that all the time, I just won't be watching the rest of it, which is a shame.

Don't like it, don't watch it IMO. They are doing an awesome job, and you are not forced to watch anything. I ust say i loved every minute of it, and really, watching the real television i see far "stronger" stuff on there even before the watershed so i do not really see a problem.

Read through all the posts and I do take them in (dorky "we are listening"). I know that there was a few comments that offended some and yes we will look into that. Please note this was the first ever broadcast, six hours and the host and experts were putting in so much work, not to mention the entire crew.

Because I am in charge I am really the one you can chase after with whips, I am not looking to have any of the content offend anyone, with that being said thank you to everyone for the feedback.

I do want to say that I've never felt hassled in any way in Eve; when someone makes a smutty comment, it's done in such a way that I know they're joking and I laugh and answer in kind. It's vastly better than any other MMO I've played in, in that regard and pretty much all others as well.

Lovin' EvE TV, but seems a bit more 'mellow' and timid than yesterday. Like they're not having as much fun with it, probably to do with the 'sensitive' people out there that let insignificant things like words affect them.

Anywho, sorry for this newbish question to the masses, but with all the long range missle deployment going on, why aren't we seeing more defender missiles, in play? Not that familiar with the defenders so don't really know their effectiveness.

However, people have CHOICE in how they comment and produce the show and I and others are encouraging a more professional tone so that the Eve community looks better and we encourage rather than put off female players who are in desperately short supply as it is. It is not a matter of political correctness; it is a matter of class.

I hope EVE TV turns into something that stays. Imagine the potential of weekly broadcasts, interviews with corp / alliance leaders, etc... There could be war reports from the different regions of EVE, a weekly forum wrap-up show that details the most scandalous alt posts of the week!

There could be an EVE version of "Crossfire" where they linked into a common TS and let people like Xirtam and DBPreacher yell at each other. It would have a lot of those annoying *beeps* in it, but think of the fun!

This kind of interactivity in an online community is too rare for just a one time event. I would love to see it improve and grow into something that becomes very much a part of the day to day EVE Community.

I do know what a passive shield tank is, but being put on the spot like that was a little sudden. I also had our time caller waving at me in the background, but obviously couldn't take my eyes off the host to see if that meant we had to suddenly switch to another stream, or if we had another 5 minutes of time. So yes, I did balls it up. But no, I do know what a passive tank is.

If you want something completely humourless and without any kind of soul to it, i recommend you tune in, turn the volume down, and put classic FM on. no risk of hearing about fluffers there.
